Posted 2008-11-17 14:34:30 by Guest I love the XBox logo. From a design point of view it neither elegant nor practical, but it is aimed at gamers who could not care less. The effect of the sphere opening up to reveal the fun inside is absolutely brilliant. Only criticism is the boring font they used for the "XBOX" underneath the ball. It's a gimmick, fast becoming a cliché. A realistic looking 3D logo is a relative novelty. When that wears off, you are left with an outdated logo that also happens to be boring. |
